The residence is located in one of the most charming alleys of the Crocifisso neighborhood, right in the historical heart of Noto. Converted from a 19th-century building, it features two independent living units that blend modern comforts with intimate atmospheres and details that reflect Sicilian architectural traditions.
The first unit occupies the former stable of the palace, now transformed into a cozy space of about 40 square meters. The entrance leads to a living room equipped with a TV and a foldable console that serves as a practical surface for breakfast and meals. The small stone kitchenette seamlessly integrates into the space, along with a sofa bed that can accommodate a third adult or two children. Above the living area is a loft that houses a simply styled bedroom, illuminated by an electric skylight. A spacious and comfortable bathroom completes the accommodation.
The second unit, which was once the master house, stands out for its generous and elegant spaces. The living room opens onto a fully-equipped stone kitchen, featuring an extendable round table and a sofa bed that increases the sleeping capacity. A metal staircase leads to the large loft where the main bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom is located. On the ground floor, there is a second bedroom with a private bathroom and direct access to the outdoor patio. This outdoor area, adorned with early 20th-century Sicilian tiles, is perfect for breakfasts, dinners, and moments of relaxation in the fresh air.
The external area of the property is a small haven dedicated to well-being, featuring a hot tub for four people, a sunbathing area, a barbecue with a work surface, and a well-maintained garden. The two units can accommodate up to three adults (or two adults and two children) and up to five adults (or four adults and two children), respectively.
The Crocifisso neighborhood allows guests to experience Noto in its most authentic essence, surrounded by tuff alleys, precious silences, and proximity to the city’s iconic baroque sites. A stroll through its streets easily leads to the Cathedral of San Nicolò, bright squares, traditional shops, and restaurants where one can savor Sicilian cuisine. The surrounding areas further enhance the experience: from the natural reserves of Vendicari to the maritime atmospheres of Marzamemi and Portopalo, from the golden beaches of Carratois to the artistic towns of Scicli, Modica, Ragusa, and Syracuse, culminating in the splendor of Ortigia.
The owner welcomes guests with the perspective of someone who has traveled the world for decades and has found in this corner of Sicily a place that surprises every day: a balance of art, culture, nature, and gastronomy that makes every stay a special experience.
